Huron Pines will have two Members on site, a communication specialist and a
volunteer coordinator. The communication specialist will be responsible for
coordinating the public outreach and organizational marketing programs of Huron
Pines, building program support through the production of materials, assisting
with publication of quarterly newsletters and an annual report, designing
organizational brochures, developing and tracking media contacts, working with
staff to develop project updates for the website and creating and distributing press
releases. The volunteer coordinator will be responsible for developing a volunteer
program, including working with staff and partners to identify volunteer
opportunities, match volunteers with appropriate tasks, track efforts and develop a
volunteer recognition program.
