Michigan Trout Unlimited is a conservation organization whose mission is to conserve, protect and restore Michigan’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds. The council represents local chapters and over 7,000 individuals. Trout Unlimited activities include advocacy for prudent management of coldwater resources, on-the-ground stream improvement, angler and steward education, research and building effective partnerships. Huron Pines AmeriCorps members help with outreach and stream monitoring programs.
