"The environment is where we all meet; where we all have a mutual interest;
it is the one thing that all of us share. It is not only a mirror of ourselves, but
a focusing lens on what we can become...

My name is Jessica Moyer, and I currently hold the AmeriCorps position with The Michigan Council of Trout Unlimited. I am a 2007 graduate from Central Michigan University. My major of studies was biology with a concentration in natural resources. My minor concentration of study was environmental education. I grew up in a small town in mid-Michigan, and had exposure to nature and wildlife from an early age. Today, I thoroughly enjoy many activities in the outdoors like hunting, camping, and fishing. I have a huge appreciation for the natural world, which is why I have dedicated my life to conservation.

This year with the Michigan Council of Trout Unlimited, I hope to encourage membership activity within all Michigan chapters, and I hope to increase the opportunities that members have to get out and make a difference improving their local watersheds.
