My name is Nathan Skibbe, and I am a first-year AmeriCorps member serving with Huron Pines. Huron Pines' mission is to conserve the forests, lakes, and streams of Northeast Michigan. Their mission statement has been my own since childhood. I grew up in Alpena, and went to MSU to study Landscape Design / Nursery Management. During this time I was active in playing soccer and basketball, but more active in trout fishing and upland hunting! I now serve as volunteer coordinator, and actively involve people in the things that I love!
